Advanced Consulting Solutions, Inc. (ACSI) had a ten-year history before moving to Parklane Officenter in 1999. The firm was first founded by two partners as Advanced Consulting Group, Inc. After a few years Vern Huckins, one of the two founders, obtained complete ownership and renamed the firm Advanced Consulting Solutions, Inc. The firm offers many traditional accounting services as well as additional problems solving consulting services.

Over the years the firm has gained considerable experience in a large variety of industries. While each industry has its own unique characteristics, sound management techniques and accounting principles will work in any industry. Armed with several years in public accounting, health care, executive management and manufacturing. Vern has assisted ACSI in successfully completing both management consulting engagements as well as accounting systems.

ACSI provides daily bookkeeping services for clients as well as monthly, quarterly and annual projects. The accounting services include accounts payable processing, accounts receivable, payroll, payroll tax, sales tax, quarterly payroll reports, annual payroll forms such as W-2s, W-3s, Form 1099 and 1096, KW-3s, etc.

The actual services provided are not a specific product offering, but rather a service based on the individual needs of the client. For example, ACSI actually prepares payroll checks for some clients, while other clients write their own payroll checks from "pay stubs" provided to them for that purpose.

Many small businesses do not have a complete understanding of accounting and interpreting accounting reports. ACSI helps small businesses develop the information systems that give the business owner meaningful information they want, need and understand. The goal is to develop accounting systems that accurately captures the management information as well as providing all of the bookkeeping.
