Saadet
Ghaffari and her husband, Shea, opened Dior at Parklane Shopping
Center in April, 2003. Saadet and her sister, Servet Sieger, manage
the store. The sisters are from Turkey where they operated a clothing
and leather merchandise store. The have always wanted to own their
own business, and their dream has finally come true.
Saadet
and Shea had looked into several business opportunities but nothing
seemed quite right. The idea to open Dior came to them one day when
Saadet was bemoaning the high cost of name-brand clothes and accessories.
Since the Ghaffaris had traveled to Europe many times and also followed
fashion closely, it seemed only natural to open a retail store where
they could sell name brand items for a very reasonable price. Those
brands include Tommy Hilfiger, Charter Club, DKNY, Calvin Klein,
Alfred Dunner, Fossil, Liz Claiborne, Jones of New York, and many
more. The rest is history, and it speaks loudly for itself.
Dior
offers make-up, tabletop items, and many handmade Turkish home décor
items that fit in so well with American designs including accent
pillows, picture frames, and decorated jewelry boxes. Saadet and
Shea plan another trip to Turkey very soon and expect to bring back
even more of the popular Turkish jewelry that is a must to accessorize
today’s fashions.
The
Saadet and Servet invite you to visit Dior where you will find name-brand
clothes and specialty items at very reasonable prices, respectful
management and staff, large dressing rooms and friendly, smiling
faces.
