Art and Jeanne Littell opened their first Fantastic Sams on April 1, 1982 at 2790 S. Seneca. It is ironic that they toured the first and only Wichita Fantastic Sams located in the Parklane Shopping Center before they opened their own. Now, 21 years later, this shop has come full circle and the Parklane location is the newest of the five Fantastic Sams. The original salon is still going strong and has 10 full time stylists. Other location as 21st and Amidon (across from the Twin Lakes Shopping Center), 7340 W. Central (Central and Ridge), 1656 S. Rock Rd., and 47th and S. Broadway. No appointments are necessary, except for wraps; however, you can request a particular stylist if you like.

We offer seniors a 20% discount Monday through Friday from 11 to 3, and a play area with cartoons for the kids. Every child who gets a haircut also gets a surprise. First haircut certificates for baby books are available. Our product line includes Biolage, American Crew and Fantastic Sams private label. We offer product specials every other month. The Parklane location offers a wide variety of services such as hair cuts, colors, perms, tanning, ear piercing, waxing, facials and body wraps. What is a body wrap? Cotton linens are soaked in a toxin cleansing and penetrating aloe-herb solution, then wrapped around the client while hot in a non-compression, mummy style wrap. The client lounges comfortably in the warm botanical extracts for 45 minutes. The aloe-herb solution of highly active concentrates will tone and tighten surface skin.
