Janet & Matt Klein, Owners

Hairkrafters was established in 1986 with the merger of two different salons and was purchased in 1995 by Janet and Matt Klein. Janet had been manager and hairdresser for 25 years at Montgomery Wards, then went to Boulevard Plaza for two years before purchasing Hairkrafters.

Debbie Harris is the original hairdresser at Hairkrafters since 1986. She has taken good care of the clients for 19 years. Janet Grey is the second longest-term hairdresser, coming from J.C. Penney's. They have appreciated her talents for 15 years, mostly for spoiling the customers, which Hairkrafters loves to do.

Following Janet, came Karla Zerr and Lana Crawford from Beauty Warehouse along with a large clientele to join an already successful shop.

Cindy Rein and Gayle Crump, both from Lincoln Street Hair Company, were the next to join the Hairkrafters team. They have been with Hairkrafters for six years now and, of course, they have added their sizeable clientele.

The newest addition is Debbie Taylor. This busy woman has a teaching degree as well as being an outstanding hairdresser.

In addition to Hairkrafters in Parklane, Janet and Matt have just recently purchased Hair 2000 at 1747 Osage Road, Suite D in Derby, phone 789-9800.
