Mr. Mike Ferguson is 52-years-old and has been married to his wife Laurie for 25 years. They have two children, Madison and Matthew. Mike was born and grew up in Belleville, Kansas, graduating from Belleville High in 1974.

After high school, Mike graduated from the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine in 1975 with an Aeromedic and Emergency Medical Technician Certification. He graduated from Kansas Newman College in 1982, earning a Bachelor's of Arts degree majoring in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. In 1988, Mike completed his Masters of Health Science degree from Wichita State University in 1988, with a major in Health Education and a minor in Health Care Administration.

From 1974 to 1979, Mike served on active duty in the United States Air Force as an Aeromedic and was stationed in Omaha, NE, Washington, D.C., and Osan AFB, Korea. From 1979 to 1985, he began civilian employment at the Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Service as a paramedic in Wichita. During the periods of 1985 to 1988, and 1990 to 1995, Mike was a flight paramedic for Wesley Medical Center LifeWatch. Between 1988 and 1990, Mike completed a two-year contract with Medical Care Development International as an Emergency Medical Service Training Advisor in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Upon completion of that assignment, he returned to work at Wesley Medical Center LifeWatch as a flight paramedic from 1990 to 1995.

In 1990, Mike founded and is currently president of LifeSaver Learning, Inc. in Wichita. He was employed by Via Christi Regional Medical Center as Coordinator of Medical Education Outreach Services from 1995-2008.

LifeSaver Learning, Inc., is an American Heart Association Training Center and provides CPR, First Aid, ABO, ACLS, PALS, Health and Safety training with two year certifications. All instructors and trainers of LifeSaver are off-duty professional rescuers made up of paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and critical care nurses. They provide training 24-hours a day, seven days a week at any location. They opened an office and training center in Parklane Shopping Center for expansion of class offerings to individuals and small businesses where there is not adequate training space to allow for training in their home locations. LifeSaver, Inc., offers weekly CPR training, First Aid, ABD, ACLS, PALS, Health and Safety training.

LifeSaver Learning, Inc., has had the privilege of providing training for most of the large and many smaller employers in the Wichita area. LifeSaver Learning specializes in the health care profession, medical and dental, schools, churches, health clubs, child care, business, manufacturing and many other industries.
