LifeSaver Learning, Inc. is an American Heart Association Training Center and provides CPR, First Aid, AED, ACLS and safety training with two year certifications. All instructors and trainers for LifeSaver are off-duty professional rescuers made up of paramedics, emergency medical technicians and critical care nurses. They provide training 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at any location. Last year they opened an office and training center in Parklane Shopping Center for expansion of class offerings to individuals and small businesses without adequate space to do training at their location. They offer weekly CPR training for health care providers at this location and regularly scheduled CPR, First Aid and Safety training at the Child Care Association for child care providers.

Mike Ferguson is 49 years old and has been married to wife, Laurie, for 22 years. They have two children, Madison and Matthew. Mike grew up in Belleville, Kansas, until he graduated from high school and then entered the United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine where he graduated with an Aerodynamic and Emergency Medical Technician Certification. He then went on to graduate from Kansas Newman College with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Marketing, and Wichita State University with a Masters of Health Science degree major in Health Education and a minor in Health Care Administration.

From 1974 to 1979 Mike served on active duty in the USAF as an aeromedic. He then was employed by Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Service as a paramedic. From 1985-1988 and 1990-1995 he was employed by Wesley Medical Center LifeWatch as a flight paramedic. From 1988-1990 he completed a 2 year contract with Medical Care Development International as an Emergency Medical Service Training Advisor, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since 1990, Mike founded and is currently president of LifeSaver Learning, Inc. He is also employed by Via Christi Regional Medical Center as Coordinator of Medical Education Outreach Services in Wichita.

LifeSaver Learning, Inc. has had the privilege of providing training for most of the large and many smaller employers in the Wichita area in the health care profession, dental profession, schools, churches, health clubs and child care industry.
