While Parklane Shopping Center celebrated it's 50th birthday just last summer, the Parklane Officenter is only just short of 20 years old. The Officenter is home to thirty-four offices and is ideally situated near major intersections of the city's east side. The real beauty of the Officenter is that while it is perfect for a new, one person business in an 8'x10' office, it is ideally designed for growth. That tenant can keep moving up to larger offices (or several offices) as the need arises. Since all the office equipment such as a multi-talented copier and a fax is provided at a very reasonable cost, there is no need for the tenant to invest in extra equipment. There have been two businesses just this year who have grown to seven offices and several others with two offices. As an added bonus, there are no utilities for the tenant to pay except, of course, their own telephone.

Because the Office Manager is at the front desk to greet and direct visitors, deliver your mail or UPS deliveries to your office, it frees the tenant to keep their own schedule. The luxury of having your office "open and functioning" even when you are not physically present in the office is a major plus. The newly redecorated Conference Room is always at your disposal simply by reserving it whenever it is needed. Needless to say, there is an endless flow of coffee (regular and decaf), tea (hot and iced), and hot chocolate (regular and sugar-free). And always, the annual Christmas Luncheon served to tenants in the Officenter as well as other tenants in Parklane.

The most important factor in making the Officenter a success is the tenants themselves. They are a very compatible, multi-talented group consisting of accountants, real estate brokers, home health care providers, emergency transportation providers, multiple councilors property association, and our own Parklane Courtesy Patrol. They are the reason the Parklane Officenter is a resounding success.
